TRUE PRIDE

It must be a matter of great pride for the people of the US, UK, China to see their sportsmen and women winning medals like buying vegetables... to see their national anthem being played over the loudspeaker...even though india has done itself proud this year , it still has along way to go...
when i heard the national anthem being played for mr.bindra, it was an emotional and a proud moment...but think about it from say, US's point of view.....for them, it must be shock and asthonishment if their national anthem is not played........for they have grown used to hearing it every 4 yrs........but in order to win the medals and to make it look so easy......the amount of hardwork that the sportsmen and women put is enormous............they start training not before 2-3 months before the games but right after the games end......they have national pride to contend with......but this time it can be said the Indian contingency was supposed to be the strongest and it did to certain extent live up to the expectation.....but Indian sports has to improve a lot........India has to learn from the dtermination of the host country 'China'.....it was desperate to be at the top because last year it lost out the top spot to the US by just a medal......the Chinese contingency was flawless, and to be rightly said....deserved the laurels......India has apopulation of around 102mn people and only second to china so indian sports authorities should realise our country's potential and try to get not just 3 medals but much much more than that......and this is a fact that everyone will agree to...'there is no dearth of talent in India !!!'
