Raking down the flower beds,
Squashing flat the new formed buds,
Plucking serenity from its shrine,
Turning cruel towards an act of divine...
Killing scores and scores of mute green foundation,
Razing completely like illicit construction,
Lack of concern over greenery and sylvan beauty,
Making obvious, the worst kind of apathy...
Hunting fellow humans with a vengenance unsurpassed,
Except to devour, but to destroy till the very last;
Oft bringing merriment to the deed,
Not a single plea of mercy, paid any heed...
This is man, God's piece of creation,
His work and action, bereft of the maker's satisfaction,
Null and void of sharing and generosity,
Will the world survive such montrosity?

Roger Federer: The Man, the Legend
Glowing and Resplendent in the ultimate triumph,
Scores of hearts nudged to ecstatic pounding,
Winning- A mere word; not enough to describe what it meant that day...
The day you gave us a miracle of your own...
In sadness as in joy; standing by you
Restlessness turning to contentment; satiation in every pore...
In our hearts- you are, were and will be the champion...
Today, yesterday and Tomorrow...forever and ever...does time really mean much now?
Tears of anguish, tears of victory...everything you have shed,
From smiling in loss, to sagging in relief...each flicker of emotion etched in our memory,
Everywhere and anywhere, you are the King...
Roger Federer- Thy name echoes and permeates like never before...
If the sport were a galaxy; you are the Sun,
Lighting it like a life-giver in your sparkling glow,
A legacy bequeathed to the world across;
Impatient eyes eager for more to unfold in its wake...
Sustaining and nurturing trust, you taught us to believe;
with each passing day, that grows when we see you in full rythmic flow...
My mere poetic words, nothing else are these...
Your greatness merits something much more...
But how do I even try to epitomise your sublime sheen and spark?
Comparing and relating anything with you has become just so small!!
